Here is the "QUEBEC STYLE PEA SOUP" Recipe. 2 cloves of garlic (minced). 1 3/4 cups dried yellow split peas (MAKE SURE THEY HAVEN'T BEEN IN YOUR FOOD STORAGE FOR 10 YEARS LIKE MINE). 1 tsp dried Savory or Thyme. Combine 8 cups water and ham hock and split peas and seasonings and boil for 1 1/2 to 2 hours (Maybe longer). Cook onions, celery and garlic in 2 tsps of butter until soft and golden. Jordan . Laura . Lucy. Monday, September 23, 2013. After a couple of days in Portland, we hopped back in the car and finished the drive to Vancouver. I love going to visit my family there. We always stay with my grandparents. My Grandpa Ursaki is the cutest. He loves babies. He called Charlie, "Rusty". Grandma loved the kids too. Adam is Charlie's second cousin. They are just two months apart. Charlie's first time on a swing. The scenery along the Sea to Sky Highway is some of the prettiest I've ever seen.

Friday, August 9, 2013. Here are a few snapshots from our trip to Utah. We spent the day at Lagoon. The bumper cars were a hit with the younger ones. Lucy is old enough now that she gets excited for holidays, and so it was fun to celebrate with her. The night before we made some sugar cookies as a family. Friday, February 4, 2011. A week after Mherra died, we made the decision to get another dog. I definitely didn't want a puppy and we're all about adopting dogs from the humane society. Why support breeders when there's dogs in shelters waitin g for families? 1 Achillies, he was a jumper- no, thank you. 2 Libby, she just didn't mesh well with me. 3 Bodie. 126 lbs of pure LOVE. A sweet Mastiff that looks eerily identical to Mherra (besides the enormous head)! We're excited to have Bodie in our lives!
