Bamboo as a natural, ecofriendly product and the iPhone as a high end technical device seem to connect most appropriately with a technical formal language like the repetitive structure that can be found in the inner core of bamboo. Inspired by the structure of bamboo, we developed a couple of patterns, which are closely connected to the structure of bamboo. Therefore, the formal language also reconnects with the structures that can be found in architectural constructions with bamboo.

Nils Fischer studied Design at the Fachhochschule Potsdam. And at the DesignCentre. At the Swinbourne Universitiy of Technology in Melbourne, Australia. He worked as an intern for Gewerk. And was later employed as a designer at the designcentre at Swinbourne. After his graduation in 2010 he worked as a freelance designer for different companies and design agencies before he was employed as an Art-Director. In 2012, he moved to New York and initiated the colaborative Studio SAIA. NEW PROJECTS and FREELANCE.

Is a contemorary light with stte of the art LED technic. It reinterprets the well-known Tiffany lampshades and is made with traditional materials and centuries-old methods of craftmanship. The handmade mouthblown glas is made in over 5000 different colours and very piece is unique, makes every lamp a carefully crafted, unique piece of design and craftmanship. Is a smaller version of the NYL for tables and nightstands. Was inspired by the great setting at the Gilstudio. One of the inital concept designs.
