One of the Lionesses from the Tagalala pride has had two cubs, they are around 3 months old now, the cubs provide excellent photo opportunities as they are so active compared to their tired mother, biting her ears while she is trying to sleep. Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Some dreams do come true! Recently we have been blessed with some fantastic wild dog sightings in Sand Rivers, capturing a sight of one of these endangered carnivores is definitely a highlight of an African safari! They are rarely skittish even in the more remote parks and parts of Africa, making for great observations of these most fascinating and beautiful creatures. The dogs were also recently spotted chasing a leopard up a tree not far from camp! Wednesday, January 9, 2013.

Wednesday, November 27, 2013. Another beauty found here at Sand Rivers is the Purple-crested Turaco. A mere glance at the bird suggests it is somewhat of an avian monarch. After a little bit of research it becomes pretty obvious that this bird is most definitely just that. Antes disso quem ouvia sertanejo era chamado de caipira, brega, cafona entre outros adjetivos pelos jovens e adolescentes.
