From a far distance one can see the giant bluegum trees rising out of the plains of the Sandveld. The farmhouse, built in 1913 by an Italian builder, is made of characteristically chiseled limestone. The owners Doro and Gero Diekmann, with their three sons, Olof, Arno and Henrik, practice Holistic Management, meaning that decisions are taken towards a holistic goal and that decisions are ecologically, socially as well as financially sound.
