yummy belly: November 2010
http://yummy-belly.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Filling my belly, then dancing with it. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Since the Throwdown, I've been busy with teaching classes at the studio. It's been running pretty smoothly but attendance has been low. I find that I like teaching choreographies rather than drilling Level 1 moves or teaching random combinations. cuz that stuff requires making lesson plans, and choreos (that I've been performing for months now) do not! Anyway, some eats I've gotten up to in the last little while:. Sets her mouth on fire.

Good food, good meat, good god, let's eat!: July 2010
http://goodgodletseat.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Sandwiches: More than fine. With the heat in Toronto this summer, I'm actually kind of grateful for my basement living situation. I will take cool and damp and dark over hot and sticky any day. I'm mostly living off of popsicles right now, but sandwiches offer a little more sustenance and so I offer you a round-up of Toronto sandwich news and a sandwich of my very own. First of all, Sandwich Box. Sky Blue Sky Sandwich. As a fundraiser for The Stop Community Food Centre. The pastry is made just like this.

Good god, let's eat! Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Newer posts →. August 10, 2010. It’s finally here. After months of waiting, I got the call. If anything was going to shake me out of a sweaty summer cooking hiatus, it was this. In fact, I was so inspired by this beautifully composed book I chose to forgo sleep a few nights. Ago for some late night baking. The blueberry cobbler seemed simple enough and I had all the ingredients on hand by some miracle. 1 3/4 cup 2 tbsp flour. In a l...

One chick's opinion on this and that. Friday, April 27, 2007. NYC: Here we come! I'm embarrassed to admit that I've never been to New York, but as of this weekend, that will no longer be the case! Alex and I try to get away every year for a few days to unwind and have some fun. This last year has been insane and we've had very little down time. So, when I came across a fantastic deal on Expedia. I planned a surprise trip to New York for his birthday! Links to this post. Thursday, April 26, 2007. We reali...

Friday, October 31, 2014. Toronto was experiencing some late fall patio weather (a month ago) and A, S, and I decided to take advantage of what would be one of the last nice warm nights of the year. We headed to The Citizen. For dinner and drinks. They had happy hour where their house wines were $5/glass (yay happy hour! So we each ordered a white or red to start. After a while quite a few mosquitoes decided to also join us, and since three is already a crowd, we asked to move inside. Their one redeeming...

The Great Canadian Sandwich Blog: December 2010
http://canwiches.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
The Great Canadian Sandwich Blog. Thursday, December 30, 2010. Investing in Pastrami Futures at the Deli Duel and the Stockyards. What's the capital of Jewish India? Even before Tom Davis opened his now famous "Stockyards" Restaurant on St Clair West, I began following his progress thanks to a Chowhound post and a link to his catering blog. While I had been there several times already, my first exposure to The Stockyards Pastrami (which was sold out during my first four visits), was at The Stop's. Free t...
