My mom, an author for published and non published adolescent fiction, got me hooked- and my desire for a simple story with silly characters and other-worldly adventures sparked my interest for the joy of reading. But, as the human race continues to progress in the quest for "thing being easier". Where the Wild Things Are [watch trailer]. Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs [watch trailer]. For Easter weekend, I escaped the bus and hopped a flight to Vegas to spend the holiday with Dad and Carey. The sun was shining and the Blackjack tables were calling. After a day of relaxing and winning $300 from a single $25 chip (thanks Red Rock Casino! D and C surprised me on Easter Eve with tickets to the Criss Angel Cirque du Soleil.

Tuesday, December 20, 2011. I made a mistake last year. I made what I consider to be the best Birthday card ever. I spent ages debilitating over what to draw for my friends card, and I knew I had to make it awesome. I was pretty proud of myself, and you can see the card here.
