Planet Papillon: June 2007
http://planetpapillon.blogspot.com/2007_06_01_archive.html
Saturday, June 30, 2007. Understand first of all that this is coming from a woman who’s despised almost any form of exercise (except dancing, swimming and sex) for most of her life. And sure, pas de problème. When I was in my 20s and had the metabolism of a hummingbird. These days, however, I need to make an effort in order to be the Papillon, and not the Planet. This girl likes her pasta and wine! Mind you. This be Vancouver. Gogol Bordello’s Gypsy Punks Underdog World Strike. Links to this post. Then I...

waste of words expressive: March 2009
http://noisysmile.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 30, 2009. We were supposed to get a big snow storm over the weekend. But it was just a sprinkle of ice. And only a little snow. Friday, March 20, 2009. My life is full of extraordinary people. Sometimes I am just overwhelmed with all of the love and friendship that sneaks into my life. I just don’t know. What to do with it. Robert made a great dinner and we played a bunch of silly games. And right now I’m talking to my mom. Does life get any better? Nope, don’t think so. This is my type of ...

waste of words expressive: July 2009

Saturday, July 25, 2009. Monday, July 20, 2009. Chopped – This is a popular place in Tucson, AZ. So popular that they have two! My most favorite thing about Chopped, however, is their baked tofu. I have dreams about this tofu. The texture is very dry, and the taste is a very explosive kick of soy sauce. It’s this beautiful blend of rich and simple. I order it on the side, because as much as I love the salad, it definitely takes away from the beautiful simplicity of the tofu. What are your obsessions?

waste of words expressive: December 2008
http://noisysmile.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 08, 2008. It's that time again. I am leaving for Florida in a couple of days. I'll be done with all my finals by Wednesday. . . Yay! 1) Wrapping paper or gift bag? A little bit of both. I think that if I had more time (I’m at school now folks waiting for my next final so this doesn’t count) that I would make homemade wrapping paper and go all out, but Robert is the wrapping pro around here. His patience is astonishing. 2) Real tree or artificial? 3) When do you put up the tree? That̵...

Sunday, August 30, 2009. I don't know what to say to the cooler weather. Uhhhhhhhhhhhh.Wheres my jacket, dammit. Say hello to fall leaves that alway smell as good as they look. Say hi to filling your lungs with dry, fresh air. Say ahhh to sleeping with the windows open! Say ooh to purple mums and orange pumpkins. And say yummy to salted peanuts mixed with caramel candy corn. Tastes like a fresh payday! Is it evident I LOVE fall? Some of these observations may end up in a fall blog I am workin on). Robin ...

waste of words expressive: a message from my pond
http://noisysmile.blogspot.com/2009/08/message-from-my-pond.html
Friday, August 21, 2009. A message from my pond. Even when it rains and you lob like a drunk emu and all the blueberries have turned smushy, there just might be some small bit of wonder you're missing. The scent is the one sense missing in the message from the pond. Never seen a drunk emu but i think what the pond says is true. Its that wonder Ive been searching for. Miss you, Girl. waste of words expressive: you will be missed
http://noisysmile.blogspot.com/2009/10/you-will-be-missed.html
Sunday, October 25, 2009. You will be missed. He was such a joy to have around. Rose keeps looking for him and to be quite honest I keep expecting to see his little head pop up from the basket that Robert took him in. It was quite sudden and we're all a little shocked. We had him for only a month, but I would like to think he lived a grand life. Two great dog friends, wet food every day, an automatic crapper and two suffocating humans. It was a great month for us too, Zeus. Oh, girl. Im so sorry. There h...
