Wednesday, February 20, 2013. A Full and Exciting Weekend. This past weekend, was extremely full! Again, no time to do laundry. But, I had time to volunteer at the school's bingo on Friday night! Sunday morning, we all got up early and headed the two hours to my grandma's farm to clean some stuff out and visit the property. It's beautiful down there. The kids played hard outside. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Allison informed me that she drew a ram. Not the truck. Not the football player. But the animal. I had no idea she even knew what a ram was.let alone knew how to draw one! Saturday, February 27, 2010. A Lesson in Balance. Every Tuesday night (at least for the next 7 more weeks) Allison will have ice skating lessons. If you remember, her and I went ice skating a month or so ago, and she was hooked! Absolutely loved it. So I promised her lessons. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Father's Day Weekend, we headed to the Lake of the Ozarks with my brother and Cait and my Dad, as well as Cait's parents and brother. We had a lot of fun swimming, boating, floating, drinking, eating, and laughing. We were pretty much in the water the entire weekend with the exception of dinner and sleeping. Monday, March 28, 2011. This weekend was an eventful one. One with SNOW.one with a WEDDING.and one even with SNAKES! I started out the weekend by skipping out of work at noon on Friday! Oh - how it felt so good. I wish I could have that feeling every Friday! I then paid some bills off (another GREAT feeling), and even got to pick the kids up from school (a rare treat! Sunday, May 30, 2010. Baby, a/k/a Barbie. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think that we would be a lizard household. Wednesday, January 11, 2017. January 15, 2017 - Jesus, the Lamb of God. The Second Sunday in Ordinary Time - Year A. IS 49: 3, 5-6. Calling Jesus the Lamb of God. Is also very special and appropriate. Each time we participate in Mass, the prayers: “Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.” and “Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, grant us peace” are said. Why were those prayers chosen to begin the Communion part of the Mass? How exciting to witness a new birth!
