Victoria CAF Shidoin Seminar. SanShuKan is pleased to announce the Victoria CAF Shidoin Seminar, which will be held on Saturday December 6th, 2014. This seminar will feature classes from Victoria-based Aikido instructors. Everyone is welcome to watch. Children seven years or older who practice Aikido are encouraged to participate. Aikido Founder Morihei Ueshiba. Aikido, a traditional Japanese martial art, was developed in the early part of this century by Morihei Ueshiba (1883-1969), now known as O-Sensei (great teacher). From youth, Ueshiba also appears to have been a deeply sensitive and spiritual person. Eventually influenced by the charismatic spiritual leader and artist Onisaburo Deguchi, he came to view his martial training as a means of personal purification and spiritual training.

Member of the British Kendo Association. And again, all are welcome. Sanshukan Kendo Club has close links with Reading Kendo Club, Berkshire. Led by O'Sullivan sensei).
