At Cabrillo National Monument, we assisted with replacement of 2 boxes which house equipment for collecting still photos and transmitting the data to the HPWREN network. We started out doing research on various multi-parameter water quality instruments for the three water quality stations at the reserve. Santa Margarita Ecological Reserve. Monday, March 23, 2009. Week of 09 March. We returned form the George Wright Society meeting to find that our water quality monitor at the gorge was once again having technical difficulties. We retrieved the monitor from Devil's Creek, which appeared to be working properly, and placed it in the gorge hoping to get better data. Ultimately, this plan seemed to work. Yay! Later in the week we helped demolish and clean up an old trailer at the North Station. Good times!
