Friday, October 28, 2011. Candy Corn, and Candy Corn Bagels? A really neat idea for Halloween. Do you like candy corn? Do you buy it, or do you just eat it if it's out? I personally never liked the stuff, but it is everywhere this time of year. I guess it is one of those things you either like or don't like! Comedian Lewis Black sums up candy corn quite nicely. "All the candy corn that was ever made was made in 1911." It just gets reused and put out again every year. My thoughts exactly! Http:/ agreatbig...

http://thepinksweatshirt.blogspot.com/2011/10/tis-season-for-pumpkins.html
Wednesday, October 26, 2011. Tis the season for pumpkins! Photos by Erin DiCola. It was really a great idea! I'm surprised we've never done it before! It was a beautiful day, so we had the kids out in the front yard on the lawn to carve out their pumpkins. If we got guts on the grass, it was no big deal! For dinner we all enjoyed grilled cheese, homemade vegetable soup and chicken taco soup. After dinner the kids got to decorate their own cupcakes and have yummy caramel apples!
