                                        Amazing homes of refuge for little bundles of joy. There are 143,000,000 orphans in the world today. The population of orphans theoretically makes up the 7th largest nation in the world. I wonder what those little eyes have witnessed, whether she realized she was being abandoned, and how long she was alone and scared before someone found her. We think she's about 18 months old, but she is a very tiny little girl. Adam and I are quite smitten :). This is gorgeous four-month old Simon, the first baby to arrive at Child's i Foundation.                                         Saturday, October 10, 2009. Tree Planting, Stove-Making and Science Centres. I shadowed Margaret to see what she does to manage the projects, and she arranged for me to experience the different aspects of the community's efforts. It was a vivid green, with orange and pink dots. It was really slow moving, so I picked it up and it carefully climbed up my arm. . Et picking the pods. Clearly there is a lot of room for improvement by the end of the program! One question asked the importance of having many different birds and insects.
