New Summer Hours Start Monday! March 15, 2013. We're so glad it's spring! He birds are singing, and the frogs are beginning to croak at night. There's a flush of henbit. Blossoms, wild violets. In the fields, and the buds are swelling in the trees. Things are turning green. To celebrate, we're switching to our new Summer Hours, to better accommodate our fishin' freinds! Starting Monday, Tom's BS will be open from 6-11 am and 1-6 pm Mon-Tues and Thurs-Fri. We'll still be closed Wednesday. January 20, 2013.

Pretty Water Lake is a lovely sight when the water is running and the fish are jumping. Pretty Water Lake hosts a trout season in the winter and a catfish/panfish season in the spring and summer. It costs a little more, but the fish are worth it. 16-adult: $15 plus tax. 9-16 or over 65: $10 plus tax. Daily $5 plus tax. Family season permits are available for $25 plus tax (These cover anybody with the same physical address. Proof of address may be requested.). 16-adult: $15 plus tax. Daily $5 plus tax.

Duck hunting is allowed on Sahoma Lake only. In the fall. There is no duck hunting on pretty water any time. Also, please be aware that a permit for duck hunting is required and is a separate permit from fishing. Permits are $10.95 for the season. This is also not the same. Duck Hunting Permits are on sale NOW at the Sahoma Lake Bait Shop. Duck hunters, please also be aware that there are bird sanctuaries.
