That's just the way it is...: October 2007
http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
That's just the way it is. Wednesday, October 31, 2007. I have a family ethics and policy class this semester. The most obvious topic that we discuss is divorce. However, we hadn't made it that far in the book yet. Today we were supposed to read the divorce chapter in the book. I don't know why, but I found it to be not only hilarious but brilliant. However, beginning in 1970 every state adopted a form of no-fault divorce. These laws eliminate the requirement that one partner be found guilty. We're big b...

http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2008/08/why-my-next-hypothetical-marriage-wont.html
That's just the way it is. Monday, August 4, 2008. Why my next hypothetical marriage won't last a year. So, I've been married to the hubs for a year today! I made the decision yesterday that I never want to have another one year anniversary. Year old wedding cake is NASTY. That's just food for thought. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). And yet another sleezy dog bites the dust. I Katie kills herself, my bad. Why my next hypothetical marriage wont last a yea. View my complete profile.

That's just the way it is. Tuesday, August 5, 2008. I Katie kills herself, my bad. So, the SM has been under some stress lately (please see: http:/ www.emkaysteele.wordpress.com. And often threatens to:. Drive off bridges, gouge her eyeballs out, jump out of windows, slit her wrists, run her car into a tree, get het by a train going very fast (it can't be slow bc that would put you in a very bad catatonic state). You get the point. But I may have pushed her over the edge this morning. I Katie kills herse...

That's just the way it is...: August 2008
http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
That's just the way it is. Friday, August 8, 2008. And yet another sleezy dog bites the dust. When in the world did it become commonplace to cheat on your spouse? I'm not blaming just men, because it's women too. But, this is out of hand. Http:/ www.people.com/people/article/0, 20214898,00.html. If you are a public figure you will get caught. Seriously? John, you're a lawyer. no one is really surprised that you're egocentric and narcissistic, but thanks for admitting it. When I was in undergrad I lived i...

That's just the way it is...: Yo Puddin'
http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2008/08/yo-puddin.html
That's just the way it is. Friday, August 8, 2008. I decided to write to clear my mind, but everything I wanted to say felt lame and undescribable this morning - religion, religious nuts, people who take themselves too seriously. BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. You can read any of the thousands of other blogs about those topics today if that's what you want to read about. But, as I was staring blankly at my computer screen, I saw my small Hunt's snack pack pudding cup on my desk, and was reminded of a story. Looking b...

That's just the way it is...: November 2007
http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
That's just the way it is. Thursday, November 1, 2007. This is basically how I feel about life. I am definitely going through a quarter-life crisis. I don't know whether to start a career, pursue my interest in photography, have kids. or what. The idea of a quarter-life crisis is apparently a very real phenomenon. I'm just curious as to how overachiever perfectionists such as myself actually settle down with one thing and be happy with it. Any thoughts? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

That's just the way it is...: February 2008
http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
That's just the way it is. Tuesday, February 26, 2008. God has a Wonderful Sense of Humor. Tonight, I had an intense craving for some Chinese food… more extreme than usual. I had one little problem though. I had called Charles earlier in the day to let him know I had a pot roast cooking. I knew I’d have to pull out all the tricks to get him to eat Hibachi for dinner instead of pot roast. At the end of our meal, the lady brought out our usual two fortune cookies. Charles opened his and it said:.

That's just the way it is...: America's Salvation: The Duggar Family
http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2008/07/americas-salvation-duggar-family.html
That's just the way it is. Monday, July 28, 2008. America's Salvation: The Duggar Family. Http:/ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duggar family. Http:/ www.duggarfamily.com/index.html. Let me start by saying that children probably crawl out of this woman's womb by this point. Poor Michelle should change her name to Jichelle so that she fits in with the rest of her family. If this makes you physically ill, you are not alone. And, Charles, don't get any ideas. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

That's just the way it is...: It's hotter than a June bride in a featherbed in this house.
http://ashanlever.blogspot.com/2008/07/its-hotter-than-june-bride-in.html
That's just the way it is. Friday, July 25, 2008. It's hotter than a June bride in a featherbed in this house. The hubs and I had the air conditioning go out at our house on Wednesday. He called the appropriate authorities to fix the problem, but apparently this is an epidemic and they couldn't come until Friday. Needless to say, our house is hotter than a June bride in a featherbed. We spent Wednesday afternoon sweating. We spent Wednesday night sweating (it was 87 degrees in our house! Anyway, I could ...

That's just the way it is. Tuesday, July 29, 2008. I really like the neighborhood we live in. It's very diverse, and rather interesting at times. Everyone here is really nice and friendly, and I enjoy taking walks with Charles and Trixie. Tonight we encountered a man who is a disabled veteran. He is an older black gentleman who rides around the neighborhood on his hoveround. Although we have seen him several times before he has never said more than a hello. This is how the conversation went tonight.
