Monday, October 19, 2015. At 3 in the morning one student will be returning to Marromeu to hopefully start HIV treatment. It's been a rollercoaster of emotions. Everyone is trying to stay strong, but we all know the reality. This morning I took him to an AIDS specific hospital followed by a public hospital. Such a sad thing to witness. Saturday, August 8, 2015. Married Off at Age 12. One of the students gave her testimony a few weeks ago and I haven't been able to shake one of the things she mentioned. When she was 12 years old she was married off to a "man" (he's a few years older) who currently wants a second wife although he has three children with his current wife. This is the site of where Jerusalem originally was when King David it made it the capital back in 922 BC. Today an organization has funded excavating the spot and uncovered lots of incredible things!
