June 2, 2015. So today the numbness has been replaced by the full volume of the silent scream, deafening my mind with an unbearable pain. I will continue to “live” my promise to him, but living unrooted, unstable for a while, until the storm eases. The main factor in this is that although I haven’t followed Slimming World 100% by any means, I have been able to stick to it more than usual because I haven’t had any alcohol since mid April. In fact the car looks like it’s been abandoned rather than parked! I don’t worry too much though as there’s no-one else around, so I just fill up and go in to pay.
