Wednesday, March 12, 2014. This is so long overdue. ive rehashed it in my head often, but just havent sat down and written it yet. so here we go- lola's birth day. I was scheduled to be induced july 17th at 7am. jason and i were up early enough for a quick breakfast and a phone call to the charge nurse to make sure we could get in. she said come on in and we left the house headed for boise. On the radio as we parked the car in the garage was madisa's good morning. It was a great way to start the day.

This morning as emma was eating her watermelon (while i cooked the rest of breakfast) she told me "watermelon seeds grow watermelon. and pumpkin.". My parents came down from Moscow to help celebrate her special day. Don't you love her dress? My friend, Becky, made the cookies.adorable, eh? And, my good friend, Kristin, did the cake. She had passed away the year before and her daughter, Georgia Louise inherited the White House and then decided to sell it. We had never met Georgia because she and her husband lived over in the Seattle area. But, she had seemed like such a sweet person in all of our dealings. She mentioned that she would be coming to the Treasure Valley this summer, and would love to come meet us and see the house again.

Sunday, August 31, 2014. Grady and Alex's Rehearsal Dinner. We had the pleasure of hosting my cousin Grady's wedding rehearsal dinner. My parents came down to do the cooking. I got to do the decorating. Grady and Alex met in the Music Dept at NNU. So I tried to incorporate music and a country setting. I love how it turned out. Found this old door in one of our sheds.
