Music in Healthcare Settings. Their performance was both stylish and accomplished. The effect of the music was immediately visible, setting toes tapping and fingers drumming. The gentleman sitting next to me, said "music was the best medicine" and he was happily humming along with pieces that he recognised. Their unique combination of instruments complemented by bass clarinet, piccolo and alto flute boasts an extensive and eclectic repertoire encompassing music from the Renaissance to the present day: rich 19th century opera-infused virtuosic works, impressionistic 20th century French music and arrangements, many by the Trio, of works by prominent composers such as Dowland, Corelli, Mendelssohn and Bartók. Music in Education projects allow for exploration of a curriculum subject in a new way and are often cross-curricular, cross-art form projects. Project examples;. Sarah delivered the Year 8 RE syllabus creatively using music, drama and movement in a large secondary school, working with students over two months to learn the ‘Holy Spirit’ unit of the GCSE syllabus and to write and perform a musical play based on the subject material. Tuesday, 22 January 2013. Snow x Illness x work = Stressed out Mother Bear. So it's 6am on Wednesday morning, minus 3 outside and inside my son has a temperature of 39.6! Bring him in to the in-call doctor they say. Sure I say. Says the on-call doctor, with his shirt buttoned up wrong and his eyes bleary from being woken up by this over- protective mother- bear! No no, no not necessary! Just paracetamol and fluids. Er. Ok. Ah" says the doctor down the phone "that's an infection, he needs antibiotics".

Sarah Attar made history as Saudi Arabia's first female Olympic runner. Is a runner and artist currently living and training full time in Mammoth Lakes, CA under the guidance of Coach Andrew Kastor. She competed in the London 2012 Olympics as Saudi Arabia's first female Olympic runner. Since then she has joined the Oiselle Team. She graduated with honors in 2014.
