Trying to Scrapbook Everyday Life. Thursday, April 30, 2015. Two weeks ago my baby turned 5! It's unbelievable to me that this little Babe is 5 years old. I am truly blessed and grateful for all the doctors and nurses at St. John's Hospital for their dedication that saved his life after a collapsed lung and eight days of NICU when his was born. He picked out a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake and yes, he was already in his pajamas before we were all together to sing and do presents. We love you so much!

Bright Colors on a White Cloth - 10 x 8. I find myself primarily drawn to painting “still life” because of the variety of colors, shapes, textures, and reflective surfaces possible. One of my favorite subjects is glass because of the way it both transmits and reflects the light. With each painting, I enjoy the challenge of capturing a strong sense of light and creating the illusion of 3-dimensions on a 2-dimensional surface.
