So far it has tested nearly every bone in my body, found mussles i never knew existed, learnt what plimpsoles are( what english call shoes) , pushed my will power and has. Wednesday, August 26, 2009. After 24 hours and 5 plane trips Mel. And i have arrived to our starting destination Quito South America. With 4 days to kill before our 60 day tour begins. We decided to explore the old town of Quito, with. The help of a map and 25 cents for the local bus we headed to old town Quito where we saw Cathedrals, monastery's. And our firsts sights of local culture. After all that we hopped into a taxi and headed up the mountain to a cable car to see the view of Quito.

Saturday, October 3, 2009. Inca trail and birthday wishes. Our next destination was Colca Canyon (also my birthday 22 Yay! The scenery on the drive was amazing as it changed from dusty farming terraces to a snowy landscape. Our highest point 4280m it was so high that you could really feel the presure on your lungs . Just standing in one spot felt like i had run 50 ms back at home, walking back to the bus after a little explore felt like i had run 2ks. After another 12 hour bus ride we arrived to the city...

Saturday, September 12, 2009. Bones, books and buggies. Our next destination was Lima the capital of Peru. This was the city with my favourite monestry so far the San Fransisco . Undernieth the monestry we explored the catacoombs (ancient underground public grave yards ).
