Apology to My Parents. September 6, 2014. As I lay here thinking about the choices I’ve made. Thinking back on all the charges paid. I know that you paid the highest price. Because I willfully ignored sound advice. I wanted you to be so proud of me. I wanted to show you that I was worthy. I wanted to be worthy of the love you gave me. It should have been enough to save me. But I can’t keep me from myself. Despite my intentions, I ruin my health. And in so doing, destroy something I have no right to.
