Friday, January 30, 2015. Noah's Little House Party. Last week the 2 second grade classes had their Little House in the Big Woods party. Just like when Anna had her party. Noah was excited to wear clothes to match the characters in the book. I thought he looked precious in this hat, but he took it off right after my pictures and didn't put it back on for the rest of the school day! Ahhh, they're so cute! There were plenty of games too. Hopscotch was a fast one to do while they waited for another game...

Friday, January 27, 2012. Emperor Penguin and Anna. So, at school, my classroom is studying Antarctica. And to my surprise, there are no polar bears in Antarctica, only in the Arctic Circle, aka the North Pole. Antarctica, I have learned, is six times colder than the Arctic and only a few animals really live there: the leopard seal, weddell seal (which is so good natured humans can easily approach them! Five has always hit me rather hard as a mom, but I have to admit that this one is a little easier because he isn't going to Kindergarten in September like the other two did. Thursday, April 30, 2015. When we arrived they let each girl take a photo with a horse and then they made those into key chains for them before we left. It was a little rainy so they did the pictures inside. I stayed behind the fence so I wouldn't look like crazy mom. After photos they broke the big group into four smaller groups and we rotated stations. First was colors and markings, where they walked through all of the stables and learned the names of each feature. Only brush above the knees! After all...

Sunday, November 30, 2014. Our preschool was asked to be the entertainment for Greenville's Cheistmas festival. We headed early for the festivities before Ethan had to sing. Tuesday, July 15, 2014. This past weekend we headed to Big Splash water park in French Lick for a little fun. We pretty much did everything we could do in a two day time span. We visited all of Larry Bird's hometown landmarks, played lazer tag, putt putt, and went on an adventure on a side by side atv throught the woods. Shooting on Larry Bird's court.we may or may not have went past the gates. Lunch in our hotel room. The kids loved the bunk beds! Lazer tag was a blast! Super doper little family getaway.

Sunday, July 10, 2011. Grammy Lisa and PaPaPa came for a visit this past week, and we had a lovely and eventful time. Grammy Lisa, Anna and I went to Holiday World where Anna was tall enough to ride the Watube. So we rode it three times and then other slides like 30 times.
