Oct 10, 2016. Once again, I find myself over a month past my last post and wondering how time so quickly slips through my fingers. So…some life updates and some exciting adoption updates. I pulled off at one of my favorite spots I used to go in high school, overlooking the lake and got a little giddy inside as the large fluffy flakes caught on my eyelashes and the fog settled in over the water, with the contrasting yellows and reds from the trees making it all look like a painting. Such sweet gifts.

Jan 10, 2017. What’s Your Excuse? This is not a hobby. It is a way of life. It is what brought me to Christ. It IS the story of Christ. This week has held a lot of amazing conversations about adoption and a lot of really, really hard conversations about adoption. I would love for the hard ones to not even be an option, but until that day comes I will commit to being a part of the battle and being a voice for the cast off and unwanted. Adoption is not a hobby. Adoption is NOT a hobby. But it IS the Gospel.
