Tuesday, July 27, 2010. AfterThis is the photo I dodged and burned. To fix the photo, I not only played around with increasing the contrast a little, but I burned both the sky and the mountains, which made the pink/gold/yellow-ish colors of the sky stand out alot more than in the original photo. Thursday, July 29, 2010. Week 10: Clone Stamp and Text Photos. Afterit's not the best work, but it took quite awhile for me to get the hang of it. But as you can tell, I decided to take the wood out of the photo. I wanted to add something different to the photos in regards to text, instead of just my name, so I ended up putting a quote for the first photo which I think fits perfectly with the picture, and for the second photo, I wanted something simple but meaningful to fit, which I think I achieved.

I was trying to take the picture of the clouds and sun in the reflection of the table and then realized that I was placing the table in the center of the frame. It was a warm spring day during the graduation ceremony at the college we attended. This photo is of my nephew when he was about three years old. The way I achieved the precision around the glass was to select the glass area, burn it so it become dark and then select inverse and dodge the rest.
