Christmas and New Years were good. We had nice gatherings with family and nice time just the 3 of us too. Thursday, November 15, 2012. I can hardly believe my baby girl is 7. It’s so crazy how fast time has gone. So many of the qualities Meredith had as a baby I still see in her personality now:. Silly, empathetic, sensitive, funny, quick, sassy, smart, shy, and friendly. She’s doing great in school, loves Daisy Girl Scouts, and is very much enjoying her jazz dance class. Monday, November 18, 2013. Fall has fallen and my little girl just had her 8. Conversation with Meredith as I was tucking her in: "Mommy,. Said she didn't believe in God. I told her God is real. Santa Claus I'm not so sure, so definitely believe in God.". She then goes on to say, "Does God bring all the presents? He owns everything, so he has all the money, but I don't think he likes money. Monday, May 6, 2013. What is it about spring? First, all of the activities from the year are wrapping up- dance is getting closer to recital, field trips for school, picnics, parties. Thursday, July 3, 2014. Well, what have we been up to since November? Christmas came and went with much joy and festivity. Christmas Eve Service with the cousins. After Christmas it is one big, freezing cold blur as we had such frigid weather this winter. Several snow days in there, and a little sledding just to remember that we can be outside and breathe fresh air. Meredith did play basketball this winter with several friends from school. Thursday, July 2, 2015. The mid point of summer is here and it's already making me sad! This summer has been cooler and a lot wetter, so I'm talking to you here summer- warm up. Meredith was such a trooper this winter with her broken arm, and all healed well. She finished out the end of the school year with success and moves on to 4th grade next year. I can't believe it. Friday, April 5, 2013. We had a fairly quiet start to 2013, without too much craziness in January and February. March has now come and gone and things are ramping up again for the end of the school year. Our biggest excitement lately is the addition of a new family member. Sunday, August 25, 2013. It's the end of the summer as we know it. Meredith continued to play softball and Frank coached and overall they had a great time. Meredith wrapped up her dance class with a recital at the end of the year and she did great. They also had the 1. Grade musical, and Meredith was chosen for a speaking part and played the xylophone.
