Shades Words and Worlds. 08:29 am July 6th, 2014. I witnessed an online conversation that irked me a bit. This in and of itself is not unusual. It is the internet, after all. Apparently, there is a school of thought that says you have to write a certain number of words before you start writing publishable material. My favorite part of writing will always be the initial writing, the zero draft where anything is possible, everything is made up and the names dont matter. Yet. I’m a journalist based in Berlin, Germany. I was born and raised in Montreal, but I have also lived in Washington DC, Toronto, Vancouver, Ottawa, Guelph Ontario, and Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. Here’s my CV. I run a blog about art conservation science called Artful Science. During the fall of 2013, I will be the journalist in residence at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science. Because some day we'll look back at this moment and laugh. Thursday, August 18, 2011. So, we moved 3 months ago and I feel like it was a 3 days ago. Although I can find items I need daily, its the use-it-once-every-couple-months items that I still can't find! Decisions Made so far: Tennis lessons, Soccer for Ethan, VBS's, Ella's school is Bergeson. Ethans school is Sherpherd of the Hills. Church is yet to be determined. Train is a great option for Devon to travel 55 miles to work. Links to this post.
