Wednesday, September 1, 2010. This past Sunday, I competed in my second Chicago Triathlon event. The race was on the same course as last year; however, the race “feel” was a bit different. Last year we had a wetsuit swim in the 66 degree water, this year non-wetsuit swim in the 73 degree water (and did lake water feel refreshing! Almost 2 weeks ago I volunteered at the first ever America For Gold 5K fun run. There were about 10 athletes that showed up to participate. There were massage several therapists on site as well as two chiropractors for the runners to be treated by upon completing the run. Friday, May 15, 2009. In two weeks time, Nathan has been to various doctors a total of 6 times. Throw in a baby shower, kitchen remodeling, Mother's Day, and the final MOPS meeting of the year and we've had craziness at our house.
