Sarah graduated in Horticulture and Garden Design at RHS Pershore and has been designing and gardening in Cornwall since 2002. She creates designs and planting schemes for coastal, rural and town gardens. By working closely with each client we produce designs that will suit them and their garden. We can provide a range of designs and drawings varying in detail depending on your requirements and budget. A complete new design for the whole garden. Plans full of ideas to help you makeover your garden. Planting Plans to help you renovate a border. Suggestions for specific requirements, such as hedging, screening or seating areas. We find the right plants to suit your garden or site, whatever the location and situation. Depending on your requirements some or all of the steps below will be involved.

Edesign of the garden in front of an historic house in the seaside town of Looe. The existing garden was not in keeping with the period and grandness of the grade II listed house. Monday, 24 March 2014. Walled Garden, Gerrans. This is a new design for a lovely old walled garden in Gerrans which needs completely renovating. The garden currently consists of a rectangular lawn and planting bed with a narrow terrace running along the house. The design aims to create a beautiful space with more usable seating and different areas or 'rooms' for the family. Wednesday, 8 April 2015. A little bit a sculpture enhanced by primroses and muscari. The amazing blue of Veronica. The clients in Tintagel had initially only a tiny sliver of a garden wrapping around their conservatory, surrounded by a fence. Then they were able to acquire just a couple more metres in depth.the fence was removed first. Lighting was set into the seating. There is also room still for a good size table and chairs. The stone detailing matches the detailing on the house, which is also rendered.

Tuesday, 18 November 2014. Bodmin Georgian Courtyard Garden. A design to create an elegant and low maintenance garden courtyard. The space also creates a new entrance way to the main door of the house and is in keeping with the look and period of the house. Monday, 14 April 2014. An additional border has been created and planted up around the back of the pool in the Woodland Garden near Blisland. It has been planted with some shrubs but mainly ground cover plants, with foliage and flowers that give all year round interest and will give colour and light to shady spots. Thursday, 20 February 2014. The build for the front and rear gardens of the cottage near Blisland is now underway. The plan for the front garden. Footings for patio and walls. Tuesday, 22 July 2014. This new build garden had a real problem with drainage. The ground was clay, baked hard by the sun and then completely waterlogged when wet. The garden had had turf seed sown but the conditions would not allow a lawn to develop. The garden was also a blank canvas, with no features or planting at all. Monday, 1 June 2015. Sunny Border, Port Isaac. Planted last October this huge border has really started to flourish with this fantastic growing weather. Lovely Astrantias punctuate the border.with Iris, Nepeta, Phlomis, Salvias, Euphorbias and many other plants suitable for a hot and sunny spot with well drained soil. Westryngia looks fantastic in these planters and thrives. In this sunny hot spot under the new pergola which is starting to be clothed by lots of climbers, including this lovely clematis.
