Tightwire | Musings of a Woman
https://kchristinah.wordpress.com/2011/01/07/tightwire
Musings of a Woman. Navigating this crazy world call life. Why bottle it up? Why does faith have to be such a tightwire where one wrong move, may not end up in tragedy but isn’t where the Lord wanted us? Why can’t I be more like that squirrel? I should be clutching to God’s promises (the wire) not looking at what’s beyond that. He may have me clutching to a section for a long time, but I know down the line there’s a new set of promises for me to hold on to. January 7, 2011. Why bottle it up?

Loving the orphans of Romania. Time for a little R&R. It’s not just a story. September 1, 2009. Jesus is not just a good story. the truth about his life and ministry and love and death and resurrection is not just about the distant past or history. but i think sometimes, when we talk about the bible, it comes across as just a “story” from the past instead of the incredible reality that it is! The first of those 2 weeks we went to a gypsy village that’s known to be one of the roughest. and after...We had ...

sara joanna: Filling bellies
http://sarajoanna.blogspot.com/2013/09/filling-bellies.html
Friday, September 6, 2013. Come into my morning if you will. I shuffle, still haven't spoken words, into the coffee maker, the toaster, the cereal bowls, the milk. Fill the empty bellies. Anna is crawling around my feet, pulling up to my legs to be held. James is asking if I want to play Legos. Really so sweetly and with such good manners that it hurts my heart to say no. again. I sit with my breakfast, take one bite. No, no more juice. Fill your cup with water if you're still thirsty.". I see here that ...

sara joanna: Her name.
http://sarajoanna.blogspot.com/2013/02/her-name.html
Thursday, February 7, 2013. This is my dear, precious, best, bosom friend, Anna. In this picture we are juniors or seniors in high school, squeezing each other in the frigid football stands of a marching band competition. She played the piccolo, I played the clarinet. And here we are with our other sister-friend, Rachel, around age 4 or 5. Anna would still rock those gold shoes and wacky hair bow today. Shamelessly. With our mamas, Anna and Carol on the right. We continued on into different colleges, but...
