Sometimes I spend hours trying to get the picture frames to hang perfectly. If I drop my toothbrush, I have to throw it away and get a new one.

The edges of my daybreak are still a little curly and I didn’t have enough pins to give it a really smooth finish. Still love it though. Here they are being modelled by the lovely Fliss. Fliss is also wearing my practice tie for the wedding! There are definitely issues with the row ends on both shawls but they’re beautiful and cozy so who cares.

My sister, Hannah, is expecting a baby girl later this Fall! We can’t wait to meet her and welcome her into the family that loves her so dearly! Hannah has a thing for foxes… So it naturally follows that her daughter will be blessed with a love of foxes as well! Sleep sack for newborns, and just HAD. To make it for her!

By Tin Can Knits. My brother has been asking for a hat, so I decided to make him a really simple but nice hat for the winter. Usually when I want something that looks good and is simple, I go right to the Tin Can Knits website because they always have something good! Which makes it all the more tempting to knit!

Almost two weeks ago (yes, I am way behind on posting! On our way back to Siena we made two stops: one at the Perugina chocolate factory and one at Lake Trasimeno. At the factory we watched a video about the chocolate making process and had a tour of their museum- they also gave us lots of free chocolate which was amazing and awful at the same time since it tastes so good but also ruins my diet! The gate through which we entered Assisi. Another thing to love about Assisi - Roman ruins! The view from below.
