Day 2: We started off the day by going to a donut shop that was made to be a big deal. I don't remember the name of it now or even why there was so much hype about it. I don't have a huge sweet tooth, so a donut is just okay for me. The boys were pumped, though! The big kids played at the park, too! Brian and his Mini-Me. Wedding: This wedding was by far the best one I've ever been to. If you know my cousin Jaime, you know she is a hip lady. ha! The best men of my life! The boys under the wedding arch.

Yet another way I failed him - one picture - a lot of video). Last year, I had a hard time with Jacob’s birthday. This year I was ready for it to be over. We had already had my birthday, Andrew’s birthday, the boys’ birthday party, and now Jacob’s birthday. The end of Birthday Hell could not come fast enough. One way we completely failed him on his birthday is that we didn't sing Happy Birthday to him at all! I do have to say that Jacob is growing into such a wonderful boy! Jacob is a GREAT student!

Thursday, January 1, 2015. Happy 7 months Brady! It has happened. A full month has come and gone. Brady is 7 months already! How did this happen? Please stop sweet boy. He's not quite mobile, but oh so close. He can get himself around if he wants to by scootching backwards, and he does. He is frequently up on his hands and knees rocking. He gets to moving his legs. Jacob started Kindergarten. By far, this has been the busiest month. Immediately after school started, we began the soccer season. So our schedule for the last month has been:. Monday - Sets the tone for the week! We usually catch up around the house from the weekend, and Jacob tends to have more homework on Mondays. Its not due until later in the week, but I am trying to teach him how not to procrastinate. His father and I are pro's, so we will see how it works out. Thursday - Jacob has soccer practice ...

Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Olivia went trick or treating for the first time. She seemed a bit confused by the concept though. As the person would answer their door, she would try to walk inside. Then when we would stop her she would have a big hissy fit. One neighbor gave her some glow-in-the-dark bracelets which I think were her favorite. Can't wait for next year! Saturday, May 28, 2011. Fun in the backyard. Here is our backyard version of a pool with waterslide. Luckily we didn't need a permit to build it. ;-) Actually Olivia really enjoys pouring water on the slide then going down it usually while naked. She has two "Little People" that also get to go down the slide and swim with her. The small size of the pool makes it easy for her to practice blowing bubbles, which helps us at swim class.
