So it was really much too nice out Friday morning to miss an opportunity to walk to our park and adjoining duckpond, so we changed our school plans for the morning and made it a "Duck Day". Bethany took pictures of the ducks we saw.and a few of her brothers. Then we went home and researched a bit about ducks. Then Beth wrote some of what she learned. Bethany drew a picture of a duck! And that is how our "too-beautiful-to-stay-inside" school day went on Friday :).

Chronicles of the Cross Family. Friday, October 22, 2010. Happy "1 week" Esther Grace! Look how big I have grown in just a week! I am changing every day! These are in order with the last outfit being today, my 1 week mark! At my 1st weight check (2 days after being released from the hospital) I was 7lbs 14 oz. (birth weight 7lbs 11oz- home from the hospital at 7lbs 7oz) So I am eating well and growing so quickly. Our first outing to go get weighed. Our precious little girl! Monday, October 18, 2010.

Wednesday, September 2, 2009. For the family party we decided to go fishing. Again the weather was not the greatest and several family members could not come, but it turned out great and the kids really loved it. Everyone caught 2 fish each to take home. They got to also watch them be gutted and bagged. It was very relaxing. To be able to talk to everyone and celebrate Cooper! What a big boy now! Avery and Cooper both caught a fish at the same time.
