Tuesday, 12 January 2016. I've borrowed your time and I'm sorry I called. Sitting in the familiar room, years of discolouration and indifference. I wonder what I am still doing here. Free-falling in despondency. Imposing on this foreign place. The radio plays tributes upon news of the death of the ultimate outsider. A strange and sad symmetry. The music is all I can hear. Sunday, 14 August 2016. During the May/June half term, we had a family holiday in North Devon. We stayed in a very picturesque cottage within driving distance of Dartmoor. One of the things I was most excited about was our close proximity to the unassuming and unremarkable village of North Tawton. It has a significant connection to two of my favourite ladies. Court Green, onetime home of Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath. Fumy, spirituous mists inhabit this place. Separated from my house by a row of headstones.

Friday, 26 June 2015. Otherwise, sans kids, we enjoyed some beautiful food, we drank some amazing artisan cocktails in Beckett's Kopf. Two places I would heartily recommend you try out if you ever visit. I am literally bursting to go back. Next time, the Stasi Museum and Archive is definitely on the agenda and just lots of aimless wandering and exploring. Farewell my lovely, I will be back as soon as I can. Thursday, 18 June 2015. Sunday, 8 November 2015. Ethel Constance Snowdrop Raven. That was the name on a gravestone I saw in the Coniston graveyard I was wandering around in with the mister recently. I thought it was so pretty and quite unusual for the Victorian era. Whenever I hear names I like I think about how nice it would be to pop out a couple more babies so I can use them, obviously these thoughts are fleeting, and I rapidly come back to my senses.
