Travelling Without Moving

Thursday, 5 January 2017. The Grumpy Old Gits Guide To Life - Geoff Tibballs. My first book of 2016 was a Christmas gift because my wife thought it would be funny because she thinks I am turning into a grumpy old git. And yes I am turning into an old git. It's the world you see. It gets you that way. Friday, 3 June 2016. Here Be Dragons by Ray Daley. There are dragons up above in the sky and it's time for their return. But it's different this time. It's a little bit of Sci Fi and it was a great read.

Travelling Without Moving: Here Be Dragons by Ray Daley

http://sarahlaughsreviews.blogspot.com/2016/06/here-be-dragons-by-ray-daley.html

Friday, 3 June 2016. Here Be Dragons by Ray Daley. There are dragons up above in the sky and it's time for their return. But it's different this time. I stumbled upon this via a Facebook group and found it on Smashwords. It's only a short E Book but it filled a gap. It's a little bit of Sci Fi and it was a great read. It's difficult to give it a star rating because it's only a short E Book but I enjoyed this quick read so maybe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Book Blogs and Websites.

Travelling Without Moving: October 2015

http://sarahlaughsreviews.blogspot.com/2015_10_01_archive.html

Friday, 30 October 2015. Blackwater Lake by Maggie James. A man and a woman are found dead in a local beauty spot but what is the secret. I came across this while searching the kindle free bestsellers list. And I'm really glad I did. This novella has everything including a well crafted plot and lots and lots of suspense. It had me hooked from the beginning and kept me turning the pages until the end. Free books on Amazon can be pretty hit and miss at times but this one was a hit. Tuesday, 27 October 2015.

Travelling Without Moving: August 2015

http://sarahlaughsreviews.blogspot.com/2015_08_01_archive.html

Monday, 31 August 2015. Send Me No Flowers by Jenny Tomlin. Donna thinks she's found the love of her life but she's only met the man that will steal it from her. If you read the introduction to this book you'll learn that Jenny Tomlin writes books about abuse so that she can raise awareness. I think that's all fine and dandy but at the end of the day a book has to be entertaining in some shape or form. This isn't in any shape or form. I was glad to finish it. Tuesday, 25 August 2015. A few weeks ago I wa...

Travelling Without Moving: December 2015

http://sarahlaughsreviews.blogspot.com/2015_12_01_archive.html

Thursday, 31 December 2015. End of year wrap up. So there you have it I've finished my 53rd book of the year. I've read a good mixture this year and here's to another year of good reading material. So here are my top three of the year. 1 Misery by Stephen King. I loved this book and comes in easily at the top position. It had everything I like in a book and it had me hooked right from the beginning. 2 The Call of the Wild by Jack London. 3 Lessons In Eating Soup by Melanie Grabowski. This guy definitely ...

Here’s to 2015! As 2015 starts, I look back on 2014 and think it went so fast and so slowly at the same time. I made a lot of changes in 2014. Most for the better. Some not. But I won’t give up on change. I won’t give up on trying and improving. Resolutions are really just plans, and I break plans that I make for myself all the time, so instead of resolutions I’m creating some simple strategies instead. How are you starting 2015? Do you have success with setting resolutions? So back to the house hunt for...
