We left him on a blanket in the playroom on his back and were eating breakfast. Then we heard him complaining pretty loudly and when I went back in, he was on his belly. He weighed 13lbs 12oz which means he'd added 3lbs 5 oz in 4 weeks. Go buddy! A healthy baby averages about 1.5 lbs in 4 weeks). His head grew an inch and was 16 inches. His body was 22 1/4 inches. So that put him at 25th percentile for length, 75th for weight, and 90th for head! As Max said: "He's short, but he's fat! Today, Chin Up.

Sunday, February 16, 2014. A year or two ago I started making sprinkle-rimmed milk glasses. For the kids birthday milk. Somewhere along the way I started blowing up balloons and putting them in the kids rooms while they sleep. These little traditions keep expanding, and for his 7th birthday Nash woke up to balloons in his room, streamers on the door, sprinkle-rimmed milk glass and a stack pancakes with a candle stuck in it. The kids love it! Representin all the babies in the struggle. Already a little man.
