Brave Days and Art: In the studio
http://www.bravedays.com/2013/09/in-studio.html
Brave Days and Art. Monday, September 16, 2013. Back in my little studio, I'm trying to clock in and clock out with regular work hours. Blogging on my lunch break. I have exciting news, friends! I'm pregnant and it's a boy! Due in February. I'm mainly telling you this because I feel the world should know how insanely hungry I am all the time. Which definitely cuts into my studio time! Here's what I'm working on today:. December 2, 2013 at 7:19 PM. I love these paintings, and also of the lady on the bench!
Brave Days and Art: December 2011

Brave Days and Art. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Diane von Furstenberg Pre-Fall 2012. Http:/ www.style.com. Wednesday, December 28, 2011. You know, I feel like young girls are told that they have to be this kind of princess and be all delicate and fragile, and it’s bullshit. I identified much more with the idea of being a warrior, and being a fighter. C∆ssⁱᴰy ᴿ▲≡. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. I also like these casual pics of her:. I love the flat leather boots paired with the classy white trench. The Argy...
Brave Days and Art: April 2012
http://www.bravedays.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Brave Days and Art. Tuesday, April 3, 2012. Misunderstood Trends: Keep Calm and Carry On and Ed Hardy. Was in a store and a friend turned to me and asked what the big deal was about the "Keep calm and carry on" posters and giftables that we are seeing everywhere. I just shrugged. While I love the sentiment, it does seem a bit overkill and I am tired of seeing it and its variations absolutely everywhere. Who pursued what he loved his entire life and finally had it pay off in unexpected and big ways. H...
Brave Days and Art: Salvation Mountain
http://www.bravedays.com/2012/08/salvation-mountain.html
Brave Days and Art. Wednesday, August 15, 2012. This is a folk art installation in Niland, CA. Leonard Knight created this incredible installation using adobe clay mixed with straw to hold it all together. He reinforces the clay with coats of paint and estimates that there are over 100,000 gallons of paint on the mountain! Read about this very interesting artist and his artwork or see more incredible photos here. Found these incredible photos on Earth Age blog. August 16, 2012 at 2:30 PM. Please let me k...
Brave Days and Art: The Rain Room
http://www.bravedays.com/2013/09/the-rain-room.html
Brave Days and Art. Thursday, September 12, 2013. Ever wanted to enjoy the rain without actually getting wet? The drops would magically part for you as you walked down the street? This past summer that experience was made possible by the art group rAandom International. They've noticed that while the audience goes in with the idea of somehow controlling the rain, in the end, the rain controls the audience. How they move and they pace they walk, providing for an emotional and physical experience. My name ...

Brave Days and Art: July 2012
http://www.bravedays.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Brave Days and Art. Saturday, July 28, 2012. The Book Whisperer and minor relapses. Went to the bookstore. Totally intended to just browse, kill time, etc. because I have been on a self mandated 2 step program to quit spending money on books. The steps are:. 1 Don't walk into a bookstore. Go to library instead. 2 If first step is broken, do not buy anything from said bookstore. Just enjoy the general ambiance, take note of titles that interest, and leave to go to library. YOU WILL LOVE IT! I'm back on th...

Trent-In-Ecuador 2011-2012
Tuesday, May 1, 2012. Cause in my head there’s a greyhound station, Where I send my thoughts to far off destinations. -Death Cab For Cutie. Right now that is difficult to say. Through sleepiness, and illness and a failure to grasp that I am leaving, I have come to the conclusion that what this year has been for me and all that I have learned will become apparent only when I have left. My last taxi ride in Ecuador was with a man named Luis. He asked all the familiar questions; where are you from? It has b...

Friday, January 27, 2012. Is this called REBORN. I doubt I am reborn: u have not heard from me for a long time and I sit now in some sanity and some sadness : in the actual reality of what it is to be hunted with energy? Awareness now of things I never knew of many and an absolute dis interest in the human being: a kindness and softness maybe never known and also some arrogance as to what I am being called to do: live life day to day as a normal chic with no agenda? Friday, April 5, 2013. And life marches on. Yep, life got away from me again! All I can say is that I have been in a whirlwind of texas festivals and making new art pieces. We visit a new town every week! Next town is Chappell Hill, then Burton, Freeport, then Brenham. That is as far as I can remember off the top of my head, lol. So these are a few of what I have been up to. By the way I LOVE the peacock one! Monday, January 7, 2013. Monday, August 15, 2011. The end of the summer. Friday, April 15, 2011.
