August 21, 2015. Waterfalls .and weak knees. Just got back from another trip to Oahu.which was filled with adventure. And most of all my beautiful sister.We took a new hike and even though my weak knees left me in the back of the troupe most of the time, I did manage to talk lots of pictures as I hiked along. Bright Pop of C. This luncheon was a fun bright pop of color.Simple flowers balanced out the bright colors, and even though it was a rainy day, this Luncheon on the veranda was a fun elegant affair. Bridal Shower in a Theater. The venue for this Bridal shower was a large Theater lobby.it was very open and cold, but by including intimate seating and floral details everywhere, the space was made inviting and romantic.Garden was the theme, as reflected in all the Victorian garden hues and colors.

October 9, 2015. It's unbelievable how fall is coming so quickly. living on an island of eternal summer, it is a bit harder to see fall.but we feel it just the same. Desiring to take long cuddly naps. baking warm things like cornbread, roasted potatoes and anything having pumpkin in it.My bedroom now has 2 craft tables overflowing with paintings, fabric, paper crafts, wreath making, on and on. my Boots finally made their first grand entrance out of the closet along with my camera. June 23, 2015. 88 Miles a day. Since visiting more of the other islands that make up this Hawaiian island chain, I have noticed a similarity among them.There are usually very dry - windswept plains.and always the beach.but almost always a rainy - cold front - mountain.It has made my world just a little smaller, in a good way. The windswept plains.with storm clouds rolling in and blue skies disappearing. Very dry dessert with the ocean in the distance. Bend in the river thru Pine trees. June 15, 2015.

Sunday, June 14, 2015. 65279;The hike started with a walk through some bamboo forests. There is a soothing and yet eerie sound of the wind moving in a grove of bamboo. Future photo shoot possibilities tucked their way in my mind as we walk on. I had read reviews of the dangers of getting lost on this part of the trail (good thing the path we took was well trodden and marked brightly with tape). Part of the lake is seen in the left of this picture. A little graffiti to brighten the cement.

Been a while…. April 30, 2010 · Filed under Uncategorized. I am back running again, with new zeal for training for my marathon. I ran 5 miles yesterday and 2.48 the day before – after I biked/ran at the gym for an hour and half- I ran with Jack, which was a fun new experience. It was fantastic to share that with him, and he did great for not ever running! So here are some snipits from the last few months…. 8211; I don’t have to be perfect. Having my sister come and visit for a weekend is a ton of fun!
