Eva pulled a little church shrinky dink out of the pocket yesterday, symbolizing one of our favorite Christmas traditions: attending the Christmas Eve (or in this case, Eve Eve) service at our church. This year, Eva got to participate by singing a song with her friends on stage. It was absolutely hysterical. Here is the proof. Eva is equally confused.

For a boatload of reasons, Mike and I wanted Eva to have swimming lessons this summer. Mostly, Mike wants her to be just like him. He's a swimming superstar who still holds the state record for 10 year olds or something like that), and I want her to be safe in the water. Renata is the teacher's name, and she is totally rad. :). Sunflowers and Eucalyptus in Oil. I've probably said this way too much already, but having lots of natural light in my studio has inspired me to paint so much more. Believe me, I would paint 24hrs a day if the sun were up that long, but having a bright studio is as close as I can get to extending my daylight hours so I'll take it!
