My Cup Runneth Over. Sunday, November 13, 2011. Family Pictures on a budget. So last year, and actually this year as well, we didn't have a photographer or the funds to get a photographer. We attempted our own family pictures with our handy dandy point and shoot camera. Oh and Pete's mad timer skills. Here are a few of our outtakes. It was pretty hilarious, mostly to us. One of those you had to be there. . . .I guess. But hey, in the end one worked out and the Christmas cards got out on time.

And I foolishly thought "that looks easy enough, even I can do it." I think I just need to realize being crafty just isn't my thing. Anyway this was my attempt to make our little house a bit festive. My Cup Runneth Over. Thursday, February 18, 2010. It has been snowing SO much here this year. I LOVE it. If it is going to be winter, then bring it on. I'd rather have the beautiful snow instead of grey, dirty slush, yuck. The other night after dinner it was snowing huge snowflakes so we got all bundled up and went for a walk. When we got home all of our pants were soaking wet so we striped them off and the 3 of us were walking around in our skivvies. . .it was a funny scene. Tuesday, February 16, 2010.

My Cup Runneth Over. Monday, November 14, 2011. Gingerbread Houses . . .Jeppson Style. Pete's family has a fun tradition of making gingerbread. Houses. I love this tradition and want to carry it on. And so we attempted to do so last year. Rather than using hot, melted sugar I made royal frosting to avoid burns. It worked ok. . . Samuel wanted a train, so he and PJ worked hard on that. My Cup Runneth Over. Thursday, January 13, 2011. More Catch Up - it's a long one. A few weekends later some people told us about Beavertail State Park. It's a favorite spot now. There is a lighthouse and cliffs you can hike on, all while watching the sail boats in the bay with the sunsetting in the west - perfect. I'm telling you people I'm. Falling in love with Rhode Island. I feel like I'm living in a lands end catalog. I just need a New England cottage and a chocolate lab to complete the picture-.
