My home was featured in this months Good Homes Magazine (November 2013). It's quite strange to see the pictures in print, especially while I'm now typing at my turquoise desk right now! Sarah Papworth's design blog. Sunday, 18 December 2011. Make it - teacup candles. Hi everyone, I saw an article on a new book by craft enthusiast Sarah Moore, called Homemade Gifts Vintage Style. It's a step by step guide to projects that are made using salvaged materials. One of the ideas in the book is how to make teacup candles and thought I'd share it as it sounds quite easy. 1 Glue the cup to the saucer. 3 Fish out the wicks. 5 Pour the melted wax into the cup and leave to dry. 6 trim the wick to 1cm.

I am an experienced textile designer, currently freelancing from my home in the West Midlands. My mediums are Illustrator and Photoshop, mostly using my hand-drawn doodles/illustrations. My work is inspired by random thoughts that pop in my head, living the (almost) 'good life', growing my own fruit and veg, and by my love of vintage flea market goodies.
