just our simple everyday life: [PUMPKINS]
http://seventwentysixtwothousandeight.blogspot.com/2014/10/pumpkins.html
Just our simple everyday life. Chronicles of this crazy family. The two of us. Monday, October 6, 2014. Grandma and Grandpa Schroeder have an amazing pumpkin patch patch this year. The boys and I thoroughly enjoyed going out to their house to pick out own pumpkins and gather numerous gourds. The boys couldn't have been more thrilled, and their dad too- he finds the cost of those beautiful orange blobs ridiculous! The boys's carving pumpkins. They picked them out back in June. Wife of a Hunter.

Just our simple everyday life. Chronicles of this crazy family. The two of us. Monday, February 24, 2014. I forgot to post this a week or so ago. It's too sweet not to share. The story behind this is quite simple. Gavin thinks Steve is SO cool. He will watch this video. A week or two later Gavin was overjoyed to get a letter in the mail and was SO excited when I read him the letter out loud. He was even happier when I told him it was from Steve. It was adorable. Plus, a DQ gift card? Wife of a Hunter.

head in the clouds.: September 2012
http://kelseyemily.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 25, 2012. The first year planting my very own garden had me experimenting with a few items outside of my traditional planting realm. Prior to this season, well, call me the dill queen. Our garden housed fresh parsley, sage, dill and the new favorite, basil! There is nothing like fresh basil atop whole wheat pasta and homemade spaghetti sauce or paired with cherry tomatoes and a fried egg on toast! Adapted from Ina Garten's Basic Pesto Recipe. 1/4 cup pignolis (pine nuts). Air is the en...

Just our simple everyday life. Chronicles of this crazy family. The two of us. Tuesday, September 10, 2013. Anyways, where is fall? Well usually I am reading an amazing book or sitting outside enjoying the beautiful night coolness. Did you run that half marathon yet, Sam? I remember you posting about it awhile back. No, no I didn't. I am 100% proud of Stacey and her sister for completing that hot and humid run! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The way is not in the sky. the way is in the heart - buddha.

head in the clouds.: Butternut Squash Lasagna with Bechamel Sauce
http://kelseyemily.blogspot.com/2012/12/butternut-squash-lasagna-with-bechamel.html
Wednesday, December 5, 2012. Butternut Squash Lasagna with Bechamel Sauce. No two times that I've made lasagna have been quite the same. The time of year as well as the seasonal produce available typically determines what I throw into the mix. The fall version combines a hint of sweet and a bunch of savory, and is infused with a creamy bechamel sauce. Perhaps it's time to dig in. 1 pkg no-boil lasagna noodles. 6 cups bechamel sauce. 16 oz ricotta cheese. 16 oz cottage cheese. 1 medium onion,.

head in the clouds.: November 2012
http://kelseyemily.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 12, 2012. Saturday afternoon, a surpising 65-and-sunny day graced us with her lovely presence. I haven't been spending much time at the park across the street mostly because I need to get my priorities in check. But mostly, because I've been busy; a lame, overused, festering excuse. So, I grabbed Bill Plotkin's. A book that I've been reading for over 2 months, because I've been. And ventured outside. The warm, humid (November? WOOF HONK, HONK! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
