Skip to primary content. Final Update for the Semester. December 17, 2013. So to start off with I left my last post with the wax pieces that were in progress so here is a show of those two as well as the other pieces as well:. So as you can see here my bronze owl came out completely with some areas missing the detail but 95% of it came out with all the detail on it! All my other pieces that are to be put with the ceramic pieces also came out great! And as you can see, they came out great! You are comment...

Skip to primary content. Owls, Bowls, and Pots Oh my! October 30, 2013. I know it has been awhile since I last updated, but I do promise you all that there is a large update this time due to the lack of updates the past couple of weeks! So to start off with, my owls. Since it has been awhile I shall restate what I was doing: I decided I wanted to make two owls this semester in bronze, one realistic and the other as Bubo the mechanical owl. I am working on the other two but I should have those up next wee...

As well as a huge list of things I have planned for my foundry class, which I will share what I have so far! The first two photos that have multiple tiles in the photos are the first ones of my test on my texture. The good news is, is that I have already got them casted in bronze and they all came out great! This entry was posted in Foundry. You are...

Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. Newer posts →. Everything Is Coming Up Flowers. March 26, 2013. So here is this week’s project update! So first off in ceramics: I have been working on detail work again as you can see:. This one is taking a lot of time, longer than the purple one! I really like how the color of the flowers contrasted against the wax and I feel that it will still look nice after it is in bronze as well, so look forward to see that! New Project for Foundry and More.

Streetsus Serenade

December 1, 2010. Come Thou Long-Expected Blog. Merry Christmas, y’all! Looking back, I’m trying to remember any official celebration of Advent. I think I might have had a chocolate calendar one year as a child. :) However, as this year’s 12/25 draws near, I want to make every effort to “let my heart prepare Him room.”. I plan to accomplish this in two ways. First, I am working through an Advent devotional entitled “ Come Thou Long-Expected Jesus. Israel’s strength and consolation,. You can go here.

A Senior Called Sallen | NY; DC; PARIS

A Senior Called Sallen. NY; DC; PARIS. Yochai Benkler: Networked Architecture. Yochai Benkler discusses two types of architecture when it comes to communication: the hub-and-spoke model and the networked model. Benkler argues that the new public sphere has created a shift from the traditional, centralized architecture to the current networked architecture. The centralized architecture was a speaker-listener dynamic. The speaker spoke. Demonstrates how my blog could become more networked. For this reason,...
