Just like Sir John Nelthorpe's School Puddings! Sunday, 25 January 2009. 3-4 stewed cooking apples (apple sauce consistency). 3 oz ground rice. Cream the margarine and sugar. Add all the other ingredient (dry) and mix well into the creamed margarine. Place the apple into an oven proof dish and then cover with the cake mixture. Bake at 180°c until the topping is golden and firm on top for at least 20 minutes – keep checking it. Just like school pudding! 8 September 2014 at 21:53. 23 May 2016 at 18:59.

GERMAN BOMBER AS WE USED TO CALL AT THE SCHOOL DINNER TABLE! 5 oz caster sugar. 3 oz desiccated coconut. 3 oz crushed cornflakes. 1 tblsp cocoa powder. 5 oz self-raising flour. 4 oz chocolate (for melted topping). Heat oven to 180°c, and grease a swiss roll tin. Melt the margarine over a low heat. Once melted stir in the sugar, coconut, crushed cornflakes, cocoa and flour and mix well. 6 July 2011 at 04:55. Just like Sir John Nelthorpe's School Puddings! Saturday, 27 December 2008. 8 oz Self raising flour. 189; oz cocoa powder. 1 egg (beaten well). Mix all the dry ingredients together. In a pan melt the margarine. Once the margarine has melted take off the heat and mix into the dry ingredients. Once all mixed well add a little of the beaten egg and mix well. Spread into a lined swiss roll tin and then brush over with water (this will help it harden). Just like school pudding! 13 February 2013 at 03:48.

Just like Sir John Nelthorpe's School Puddings! Thursday, 21 May 2009. Use a ready made pastry case 7/8inch approx. 4 tblsp raspberry jam. 2 oz caster sugar. 4 oz rolled oats. Vanilla essence or almond essence (whichever you prefer). Warm the jam slightly and smooth over the pastry case evenly. Melt the margarine and sugar on a low heat. Once melted mix in the oats and essence and mix well. Spoon the mixture over the jam and spread with a fork. Bake for 15 minutes at 200°c until lightly browned.
