I swear, there are times when I feel like I am an oncologist, dealing with so many cancer patients, acting essentially as their primary care provider. Cancer sucks. It's no grey's anatomy. I am a general surgeon, and i have a fabulous life, but it is nothing like the tv show. 5 years in residency behind me. Back in January I posted a short list. Of goals I had for this year. 1 participate in at least one organized bike ride and run. 2 pass the general surgery oral boards. 3 hone my sewing skills and make a button up shirt for john. 4 catch a boatload of salmon. 6 can a batch of jam (preferrably rhubarb/berry blend). Here's a run-down of my successes (or otherwise).

Tirsdag den 5. august 2014. Jeg faldt for formen på denne her ske. Så let og fin og feminin. Den kostede 2 kr. Og heldigvis fandtes hele sættet. Af en eller anden mærkelig grund, passer kniven dog ikke ind med gaffel og ske. Formen har et helt andet udtryk og har slet ikke letheden i sig :(. Meget fint er det dog. Til hjemmet og udflugten.
