After you get the job you have to go through all the crazy processing and paperwork. I looked at a couple places in the area with my parents and the first place just didn't do it. There was no washer/dryer in unit as I had thought and everything was super outdated: the appliances, the carpeting, etc. These are the bar stools that I really seriously want. I had a few qualifications, I wanted a washer/dryer in the unit or hookups for it, a one bedroom, and some place that allowed dogs over the 35 pound limit most places have so that Garth and Abe could come visit. Thursday, May 25, 2006. Tightar$e tuesday (well it was wednesday, but close enough). Been rather lazy lately and haven't been bothered to blog, surprise surprise! But i couldn't resist not blogging about last wednesday. karen and i both had the day off (well i really had more than a day. Off, but anyways) so we decided to make the most of melbourne's beautiful weather and go explore the city. now crown is having some may $2 'dorrah spesal' so we parked there for 'guess how much? Wednesday, August 16, 2006. Sunburnt in the snow. We're all back in one piece with only a few bumps and bruises to show. it was a little disspointing we didn't get any fresh snowfall on the mountain, but nonetheless, man-made snow proved we can still have a good time on the slopes without mother natures help. It still turned out to be a great trip, but next time we might drive up ourselves. the bus trip is uncomfortable and we should be able to shave some time travel time by car.
