In her twenties, while living in Antigua, Guatemala, she collaborated with a local Guatemalan family to develop a tourism business, which predominantly led hikes up active volcanoes. This raised the bar on the tourism business in Antigua, as advertising was translated into at least four languages and the safety of foreign tourists was made a priority. UC Santa Cruz, CA.
