http://sarahzonadesigns.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 22, 2009. So, when I'm posting, I have to work backwards, but today I forgot about that. These are a few of the photos I took today with a different background than the post after this, which I actually took first. I like this background better, but I can't do group shots because I have to hang the pieces. I will stay behind the camera for a little longer. BRDPDSM2 Beach rock on top and red rock on the bottom. $65.00 each. These too, are in the older post next to this one. These bracele...

SarahzonaDesigns: Bar Stock Pendants
http://sarahzonadesigns.blogspot.com/2010/01/bar-stock-pendants.html
Thursday, January 21, 2010. After watching a blacksmithing demo that included some forge welded overlays, I was inspired to make these pendants. I soldered some square silver wire onto some steel bar stock, then hammered the silver flat. I love the look! All four of these were made with 3/4" wide stock. The rectangles are 3/4"x1". They are hanging on steel ball chains and rubber cords. $32.00 on the chain, and $36.00 on a rubber cord. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Bridges for Autism Foundation.

Thursday, March 5, 2009. On that note, I have decided to call them Intention Bangles. With different colors and symbols, these bracelets can be used as meditiation tools, reminding the wearer to focus on what is desired in their life, enabling the manifestation of those desires. I am offering some general suggestions for the colors and symbols, but you may interpret them any way you want. The moon can represent many things. Female energy is just one thing that comes to mind. I also made some bangles with...

I can also hang them on a steel ball chain($35.00) Or a sterling snake chain($65.00). Stay tuned, I'm gonna see how they look in bronze. Bridges for Autism Foundation.

Sarah K. Harms: September 2009

Saturday, September 5, 2009. Forged Steel and Silver Jewelry. Posted by JAC Administator. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Sarah K. Harms. Since 1979, I have been using time honored, traditional metalsmithing techniques to create my contemporary, yet earthy wearable art. In our high tech, fast paced world, hammering some hot steel or sawing out tiny pieces of silver can be quite therapeutic. With two young boys (born in 1997 and 2000), my studio time is limited, so my production ability is limited as well.
