Sara Not In Taiwan. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. I am one of a few lucky people who temporarily doesn't have to work on Tuesdays so we decided to take a trip to the Taipei zoo. To get to Taipei, we took a bus that left at 8:30 and arrived in Taipei at about 11:30. We walked to the MRT station and ate lunch and some yummy grape icecream. The MRT system here is really user friendly. Here's Whitney purchasing a train token from a kiosk machine. Here is a view of Taipei from the train. Links to this post.

Sara Not In Taiwan. Saturday, June 21, 2008. It's all over. we survived. Saturday was graduation for the basic reading and 6 th. Grade classes. All of these pictures are courtesy of Steve or Mary since I don't have a camera anymore. The kids performed both Chinese and English musical numbers for graduation. This dragon dance was awesome. Sara Not In Taiwan. Sunday, March 30, 2008. Steve and Joseph can complain. All they want about having to live with eleven girls, but give them the chance to do something like create a table center piece and they are all over it. I hired him on the spot! Then I enlisted Joseph's help in constructing a bunny out of a hard-boiled egg. The egg was still a little raw inside so, Joseph had to deal with some bunny leakage on his hand, but he pulled through it. My proteges hard at work. A good time was had by all.
