Wednesday, September 26, 2007. I'm not sure if the fasting she had to endure pre. Surgery made her finally start eating solid food, but she has now expanded her menu to include cooked cucumbers (a French Caribbean. Recipe; it's really good) and steamed potatoes. I can't believe this is the same baby who turned away from eating food off a spoon a few weeks ago. Then again, I haven't gone back to the jarred baby food; she seems to like the "real" stuff. Two days after Sara came home from the hospital, Jaren.

Wednesday, November 28, 2007. And Sara to visit Santa, and for the first time, Jaren. Was able to write out a list. Santa read it and promised to tuck it away somewhere important so he could bring it back to the North Pole. Sara was a champ while she was sitting on his lap, but it only lasted about 2 mins. Tuesday, December 25, 2007. Xmas 2006 - Xmas 2007. Posted by Cyrus and Shelley. Santa got Sara an activity "house," that has all kinds of doo-dads on it, like a doorbell, porchlight, roll-y, spinny things, music. She loved it, but seemed much more interested in whatever Jaren happened to be playing with. Right now it's set up in the living room and as far as Cyrus and I can tell, there's no other place to put it. If it wasn't so loud, we'd be playing right now, but it would probably wake up the kids.
