Life of a Meyer. Thursday, June 20, 2013. Picking cherries is one of our annual summer traditions around our house. This year a late frost zapped most of the cherry crop in Emmett so we had to go pick the first day the orchard was open so we could get the good cherries! We brought a ladder this year so no one would leave with broken limbs. ;) The kids had a blast and picked all the cherries they could within their reach. Life of a Meyer. Sunday, September 29, 2013. I have definitely slacked on blogging! Summer flew by and now we are in fall already! End of the summer we traveled to southern California to attend a cousin's wedding and then headed down to Disneyland with Jared's mom. It was SO hot and humid, definitely never going again in hot weather months! I have a lot more pics from the last month, but I better break it up! We had such a fun summer and look forward to the fun we will have this fall! Blogs I check up on.

Life of a Meyer. Friday, July 26, 2013. Here is the last picture dump from our trip to Oregon! We celebrated my birthday and Grandma's (hers is on the 4th). We all loaded up and went to watch Despicable Me 2 to beat the heat before the festivities. Second year in a row Kylie was not a fan of the fireworks and wanted to go inside and watch from the couch. Life of a Meyer. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. It was a sunny day today, but it was SO windy out! We lasted an hour at the park and headed for the warmth of home. I had been meaning to get pictures of Kylie wearing my wedding dress and to continue doing every year just to see how my little gal grows. Of course I had to throw cutie Ethan in there too! Life of a Meyer. Monday, February 3, 2014. Well, we blinked and now it's February! January was bleak around here. We had 20 days straight of no sun and what Boise folk refer to as "inversion" which translates to utter lack of vitamin D and your kids driving you crazy indoors! Life of a Meyer. Friday, August 2, 2013. Having a boat to play on is the best! We love taking our boat out when we can, which sadly this summer due to schedule conflicts with both Jared and I it hasn't been as much as we like. When we have taken it out, we've made the most of it. The kids love going to the lake to swim, fish, and build sand castles. Ethan even took a 2 hour nap last time on the boat! The folks we shared a beach with let us borrow their paddleboards to play around on. Blogs I check up on.
